Pastor Donna will lead worship on Sunday and share her reflection on the Gospel of Mark 5:21-43

This will be a Healing and Communion Service. A time to contemplate, process and heal from the many things happening in our lives-church, community, family and world so that we may be the Peace of Christ to the world.

~Stay afterwards to enjoy fellowship & goodies~
We invite to to come at 9:00 for a time of bible study or centering prayer. Come every week or drop in as you can

Join some of us at the Truckee Rally in Truckee this Saturday June 30th, 2-3 pm in front of the Old Jail Museum. Park by the church & walk over.

Want an opportunity to help serve refugee families in the Reno area? Refugees have many needs from transportation, clothing, tutoring and practice speaking English, or just having friends to hang out with! Sparks UMC mentors a family from Congo, and we mentor a family from Afghanistan.

If you are interested, or just want more info, please get in touch with Evan Chan at  [email protected] and check out their website https://www.nnic.org

Church of the Mountains embraces the Open Hearts, Open Doors, Open Minds slogan of the United Methodist Church.

Expanding on that, this small group is a step into action towards living into that statement more fully. By advocating for and welcoming people of all sexual orientations & gender identities and affirming that ALL people are created in the image of God.
