A great way to "Take a Stand" this week!
|
The Chan Family made a Stand at Truckee Thursdays this week to support the children at the border!
- They sold 90-100 cups of lemonade
- Had about 48 postcards written by folks to an immigrant child being held at the border without their parents
- Raised $507.19 (and $2 Canadian) to help these children.
|
|
They will be hosting again next Thursday during Truckee Thursdays!

Open Minds slogan of the United Methodist Church.
Expanding on that, this small group is a step into action towards living into that statement more fully. By advocating for and welcoming people of all sexual orientations & gender identities and affirming that ALL people are created in the image of God.
