Our Promise Campaign
State of California Employees once again have the opportunity to financially support nonprofits safely and simply through an established process payroll deductions process allowing you to focus on the impact of making a positive difference when you sign up and continue your pledge.
Please select George Washington Carver Guild as the lucky nonprofit organization to receive your generous contribution this year. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. For example, a $25.00 monthly donation would contribute an annual monetary gift of $300.00 to GWC Guild. This money would be used to fund all of the activities that enrich your child(ren)'s education at GWC.
Select GWC Guild by filling in "Write-In" portion for Section 3 of the Pledge Form with the information below: ( download form here)

Keynote Betty Staley, with Marianne Gray & Luisa Burgess
For Parents, Teachers and Administrators
Children in the middle school years experience earlier puberty, societal influences, and environmental changes which make them especially vulnerable. Using insights from Rudolf Steiner and from neuroscience, we will explore ways in which teachers, administrators and parents can guide them toward healthy emotional and academic growth. Complete Workshop $125;   Friday Evening Keynote Only $25. Lunch and snacks on Saturday, November 4 are included in the workshop fee for all attendees. Register at www.steinercollege.edu.
Support Waldorf Curriculum at Carver
WE NEED YOUR HELP! State funds, which have covered the cost of Main Lesson and other Waldorf curriculum and supplies at Carver in the past, are no longer available. The GWC Guild hopes to raise the $24,000 needed to support Carver for the 2017-18 school year. Our goal is to raise $125 per student, but the Guild realizes each family's ability to give is different and all levels of support are appreciated.
