CHERINE ANDERSON RETURNS!
Singer launches new radio show ahead of tour.

Billboard-charting singer/songwriter Cherine is partnering with a team of young professionals as well as students to kick-start their new Groove Campus initiative. The Groove Campus Tour is a groundbreaking venture aimed at connecting leading musical bands with students outreach projects to promote education, creativity, entertainment and social responsibility. The biannual tour will help to kick-start fundraising efforts for student-led projects through a series of live on-campus concerts.

Launches new radio show

Understanding the importance of giving students a platform to engage, share their ideas and become a part of the solution for their schools, Anderson will also premiere a progressive talk and music radio show called The Cherine Anderson Groove Campus Show on April 15 on Bess 100 FM. Listeners can tune in every Wednesday 5-6 p.m. or watch the live stream via www.cherinetv.com

Projects confirmed for the Spring 2015 edition of the Groove Campus Tour are The Queen's School Breakfast Project, the Munro College Gears Up Cadets Project, the Holy Trinity High Keep It Moving Fitness Project, G.C. Foster College's pool refurbishing project, Excelsior High's Sci-Tech Project, Rollington Town Primary's Cool Down ceiling fan project, as well as Groove Open Campus, an all-day cook-out which entails a lunch hour concert and after work jam to benefit the ROC Scholarship Programme. How schools are selected for Groove Campus Tour

Participating schools are nominated by students, teachers or alumni by way of an online application at www.cherinetv.com/groovecampus.  All schools must demonstrate a clear need or a project that will benefit the entire student body. In addition, the Groove Team works in collaboration with the students and school administration to guide the projects. Other artistes to endorse the initiative are Ch4se, Nina Karle, Chevaughn and Natty King, along with performances by students, teachers, parents and alumni of each institution.

The Groove Campus Tour begins on April 27 and ends on May 29. The tour is endorsed by CherineTV, Zlink Entertainment, ROC.iT Youth Magazine, Quantegy Sound System, Large UP, VP Records, Bess 100 FM and Nanook.
