NEW THIS YEAR!
Friday Night Social, 5-8 pm at Red Clay Brewing Co. (704 N Railroad Ave, Opelika AL 36801). Preregistered riders are invited to come pick up their ride packets and stay a while in beautiful, historic, downtown Opelika for some local brew. Once signed in Friday you're ready to roll Saturday morning!
If you missed preregistration, you're welcome to come Friday and get help registering.
Note: we are not taking money Friday. We'll help get your forms and waiver completed, answer any questions and have a beer with you. Saturday, we'll need you to drop into ride headquarters to submit paperwork and pickup that ride number.
The East Alabama Cycling Club is again excited to work with the Davis Phinney Foundation, to support their mission in the fight against Parkinson's. Thanks to your participation in 2014, we set a new record in raising $7,719.52.

RIDE LOCATION Trinity United Methodist Church located at 800 2nd Ave., Opelika, Ala. Via Interstate 85, take Exit 60 and follow S. 10th St. to Second Avenue. Turn North (Right) and see the Church on the Left (west). Meals, showers and bathroom facilities are available at the Church.
RIDE DAY SCHEDULE
- 7:00am - Registration opens at Trinity United Methodist Church.
- 8:00am - Mass start for all ride distances.
- 10:00am - Drawing for the Grand Door Prize!
- 11:00am - Post-ride meal available to riders.
- 4:00pm - Course swept and closed.
RIDE OPTIONS
Printed maps with emergency phone numbers will be available as well as goodies for your choosing.
Yellow road markings for all routes.
REST STOPS There will be 8 rest stops for 105-mile riders, about 10-15 miles apart...stocked with cookies & packaged bars and candies, bananas, oranges, olives, PB&J sandwiches PLUS special & homemade treats at individual rest stops. Ice water and gatorade for all courtesy of Buffalo Rock/Pepsi.
SAG Drivers will sport both magnetic signs and flashing lights.
LUNCH will begin at 11 am with delicious deli sandwiches & fixings.
SIGN IN
Plenty of Centurion Medals & patches have been ordered and the Alabama Backroads Century Series girls will be there cheering you in and taking photos of your smiling faces. You know the routine for Photographer, Rose Gacula...pose with your bikes, wearing or holding your medal/patch. She will make you famous!

Just a few Safety Reminders
...
- Helmets are required for all Series rides!
- No aero bars allowed when riding in groups.
- No personal SAG/Support vehicles are allowed on the course.
- Please respect all Rest Stop property owners! Urinating in public is illegal in our state and even on private property, if it's visible from a public place. Charges may include disorderly conduct, indecent exposure or public lewdness.
