Have you ever gone to the farmers market only to find the eggs are all sold out? Ever made a trip to the farm and found the egg frig empty?

Here is a way you can help us provide more eggs right now! We have an opportunity to buy 200 hens from another producer who is getting out of the egg business. By buying this young flock of birds that are already laying, you don't have to wait 26 weeks. That's right, if we buy day-old chicks, it takes that long before they start to lay!

And it takes 24 hours of daylight for a chicken to produce an egg. So naturally, as the days grow shorter, the hens lay fewer eggs each week.

Purchasing this flock will double our egg production and ensure a supply of eggs for you through the winter.

We need to raise $3,000 to purchase the flock. Every dollar you donate will be returned to you in eggs, or if you prefer, can be used toward any purchase of farm product.
