Important Message from the  Child Care Licensing Unit

The Child Care Licensing Unit (CCLU) is currently in the rule making process for the Administrative Rule He-C 4002, which governs family and center based licensed child care programs. 
CCLU would like to thank all of you for the feedback you have provided so far. The discussion of the draft rules at provider meetings around the state, in addition to the feedback submitted via email, resulted in changes to the draft.  The Child Care Licensing Draft Rule is now available for public comment, due no later than 4/27/2017 at close of business.   A public hearing on the proposed changes will be held on Thursday, 4/20/2017, at 6:00 pm in the Health and Human Services Brown Building Auditorium at 129 Pleasant Street in Concord.  Y ou may attend via a live webinar. Details for the hearing and a copy of the proposed rule can be found here under Child Care Licensing:  http://www.dhhs.nh.gov/oos/aru/comment.htm

In addition, we have created a document that summarizes the major changes from the current rule to the proposed rule. Click here or on the button below to access it. 

Please note that the Final proposed rule will be developed after the conclusion of the public comment deadline and will include consideration of all comments received. Please include comments on changes you like and want to make sure remain in the final proposal, as well as comments on what you do not like and why, and suggestions for additional changes you would like to see.
