Child Care Program
Dear Community Members.
With less than 3 weeks to go, the organizers of the Youth Program at the upcoming UNAA convention at the Hyatt Hotel in La Jolla (San Diego) are working diligently to host a truly fun and memorable weekend for your sons and daughters.
Of particular importance at this moment is a need to estimate the number of young children (baby-through-elementary school age) we can expect. Our ability to effectively plan and offer a program for this age group is dependent on the number of youth participants we can expect. This is particularly important as it is expected that many parents of children in this age group will want safe and nurturing child care services during important functions such as the forums and evening entertainment events.
There is a fee of $35.00 for the daytime period of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The service will include snacks and meals.
A second evening session will immediately commence and end at 2:00 AM for a separate (or additional) fee of $35.00. This session also include snacks.
These fees will be collected at the door.
Envisioning, developing and executing an exciting and fulfilling program for our UNAA youth members has always been a tremendous challenge for convention organizers and, quite frankly, one we have never really done very well in the past. True there have been memorable forums and activities here and there, but all in all, no one convention stands out as having presented an exceptional program.
However, in order to effectively plan for this service, we would like to ask those parents who plan to use this service to please contact us as soon as possible and give us some idea as to which sessions you will be interested in. You are welcome to call or email any of the following organizers.
