Child Care Staff Orientation Training
Training deadline is fast approaching
Updates have been made to the
Child Care Staff Orientation Training due to the recent changes to child care licensing rules. Now Type A and Type B home providers licensed before Dec. 31, 2016, and child care staff members hired before Dec. 31, 2016, are required to take the training by June 30, 2017. All new child care staff hired after Dec. 31, 2016 are required to complete the orientation within 30 days of being hired.

Ending use of printed in-service forms
Records available online
Did you know ODJFS-licensed child care providers using the Ohio Professional Registry (OPR) no longer need printed in-service forms? Verification from the OPR is now listed as a way to document the completed training. OPR records are accepted by ODJFS and Step Up To Quality and you can view, download and print your records at any time by logging on to your profile at
www.occrra.org.
4C will stop distributing printed workshop in-service forms beginning July 1, 2017. Our Workshop Assistants and staff are available to answer questions and to walk you through OPR. For further information, call the 4C Central Registrar Line at 513-758-1301
Early Learning Assessment training
