Children & Youth Ministry
Leaders Luncheon
Please join us on Thursday, September 22nd for a Children and Youth Ministry Luncheon! The time is 11:30-1:30 at MN Church Center 122 W Franklin Ave -Assembly Room 2- Minneapolis, MN 55404
We will be looking at what is new in resources for the 2011-2012 Season from the Resource Center for Churches. We will also share in worship, a meal, reflections of ministry this fall and hear about what opportunities are available from the MN Conference.

"Living the Life"
October 7-9, 2011
Held at Pilgrim Point Camp you will enjoy a weekend to explore your faith with awesome musician and keynoter, Bryan Sirchio, as you learn ways of "Living the Life"!
Event will begin at 6:30pm on Friday, October 7th and will conclude at Noon on Sunday, October 9th.
Early Registration Deadline: September 26th
$75 youth & $50 adult - early registration
$85 youth & $60 adult - after September 26

High School Fall CYE
"Sexuality and Our Faith"
October 21-23, 2011
Join us at Pilgrim Point Camp with Ann Hanson from the national offices of the UCC as we have a fun-filled weekend with friends and explore the theme of "Sexuality and Our Faith".
Event will begin at 6:30pm on Friday, October 21st and will conclude at Noon on Sunday, October 23rd.

Connext Summit
A Progressive Vision for Children and Family Ministry
October 16-19, 2011 @ Christ the King Retreat Center (near Buffalo, MN)
Only $150 Registration (includes lodging, food & resources)
The event is designed for Children Ministry Leaders and Ministers who are wanting to engage deeply in how we do Children and Family Ministry in the 21st Century!
The keynote speaker for the event is Rev. Dr. Joyce Mercer with special guest presenters, Rev. Peg Chemberlin and Dr. Mary Hess. The event is being sponsored by the ELCA, UMC, PCUSA, UCC and the Resource Center for Churches.

Middle School Service Days
Serve others while making friends from around the MN Conference UCC!!
(6th-8th Graders)
There are 3 service days:
-Saturday, January 28, Henderson
-Saturday, March 10, Anoka
-Saturday, May 12, Pilgrim Point
(Each of the days are from 9:30am-3pm)
Cost is only $5 per person
Attend all 3 Service Projects & get a FREE T-SHIRT!
Every location will have different kinds of projects and different sites so groups will need to be flexible, but all days will include:
-Orientation to service projects
-Group building games
-Sack lunch
-Debriefing
-Closing Worship

Youth Leaders
- Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the First Congregational Church of Minnesota UCC in Minneapolis. The day will include workshops, keynote & lunch (9:30-3pm)

50 CHURCHES celebrating our
50 YEARS as a conference!
Help us celebrate our 50th Anniversary and also reach our goal--send a youth (18 & younger) to the 2012 annual meeting!

National Youth Event 2012
The National Youth Event, held every four years, provides an opportunity for over 3000 youth to gather for worship, workshops, faith, fun and fellowship. It is planned by the collaborative efforts of national staff and an NYE Planning Committee comprised of a diverse group of UCC youth and young adults.

Held July 10-13, 2012 at Purdue University in Lafayette, IN
Note: Will be leaving prior to the 10th for time to drive there, most likely the day before.
