Lent is 6 weeks of preparation for Easter. Sunday School teachers have Lenten Resources for your child.

K-1st Grade Godly Play News

Frances Bragg, Alice Bragg, and Linda Clausen have joined us as Godly Play storytellers! We are happy to have a full staff of teachers.

During Lent, kindergartners and first graders are hearing "The Faces of Easter"- a journey through Jesus' life in preparation for His death and resurrection. Come join us on this Lenten journey! 

2nd Grade Prayer Class

Join us for this new DCPC class where we will learn the Lord's Prayer and experience a variety of prayer styles through movement, art words and silence.  You are still welcome to join in for the final class on March 26th at 11 am. On April 2nd children who are willing are leading worship by saying the Lord's Prayer with motions in the sanctuary at 11 am worship.

3rd Grade Bible Class

Join us for this longstanding tradition. We will learn about the Bible, become comfortable in locating scripture, and have fun together. Games promised!

April 23, 30, May 7, 14 at 9:45 am in room 201

Children will receive their Bibles in worship on June 4th- Journey Sunday at 11 am worship.

Preschool (ages 3-5)

DCPC Weekday Preschool

It's that time of year when Dads are invited to preschool for "Dazzle Dads" celebrations. 

Also, the children will be visiting the fire station and hosting the police during their unit on Community Helpers. 

You are invited to Preschool Sunday School 

Sunday mornings at 9:45 in room 118. Join us for a Bible story, craft, snacks, and playtime! Wonderful teachers, fun environment and new friends to meet. Hope to see you soon!

Marketplace: A Holy Land Experience
DCPC Vacation Bible School July 10-13. 
Please contact Rosie Honeycutt or Jennifer Holden to volunteer! Do you have your eye on a certain job? Now is the time to sign up. We need small group leaders, craft leaders, people with an eye for decorating and costuming. Registration is coming soon, but save the dates. You won't want to miss this week of inter-generational fun!

Wednesday Night Live
Choirs-Fellowship-Childcare-Dinner-Devotion

April 26th will feature the Children's Choir Musical as the final WNL of the school year. Don't miss this special event!
Music education in the church environment.
Fellowship, childcare and a night off cooking.
A great way to spend your Wednesday evenings!

5-6 pm: Nursery for birth-age 3, room 14.
5-5:45: Beatitude Beverages for adults
              (drinks & fellowship at Mestizo)
5-5:45 or 6: Choirs for ages 4- 5th Grade 
5:45-6:30: Dinner in Congregation House
6-7: Childcare support in the Congregation House- extra hands so parents can eat and visit
6:30: A 15 minute devotion for all ages

Come enjoy some fellowship!  Your family is invited for some or all of Wednesday evening activities at DCPC. Please call the church office or email RSVP for dinner.
