Praise Report: KidsGames

In 4 weeks of KidsGames we had  1,800 kids   and
711 volunteers who split up into various elective groups like boot camp, learned about Jesus, and participated in outreach projects!

A story from Debbie Walton, our Sports Ministry Director:

The yearly miracle of KidsGames is something that amazes me every year! The layers of what happens during one week is so beautiful.  We have kids who love to come yearly, dedicated youth and adult volunteers who give up hours on their jobs to serve, and unchurched families who come to KidsGames and experience church for the very first time.
On the last day of KidsGames a mom came running up to me as her kids were diving into their pizza and watermelon lunch.  She said, "We don't attend church, my kids have never been to church before.  And I have to tell you, this is one of the greatest experiences my kids have ever had!"

Another reason KidsGames is great is the youth who volunteer.  I heard one story from a Dad who shared with me why he signed up.  He was watering his lawn as two women walked passed chatting.  He overheard the conversation as one woman asked "what camp did you sign your kids up for?" the second woman replied, "KidsGames, it is the best! Youth are the ones who run it, they know how to make it fun for the kids!  Nothing like it anywhere!"

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and spread the word!
