Bible Basis: Genesis 8:13-22; 9:13-15
After 150 days, the ark landed on one of the high peaks in a mountain range, the "mountains of Ararat." Months after the ark landed, the earth was dry enough for Noah and his family to come out. One year and 10 days after the Flood had started, Noah , his family, and all the animals left the ark. Noah's first act on dry land was to offer a sacrifice. His thankfulness was an act of sincere worship of God. God responded to Noah's sacrifice by promising never to destroy all living things with such a great flood again (Gen. 8:21).
Lesson Focus: We can thank God
Memory Verse: Love the Lord your God with all your heart. Matthew 22:37

The Good Shepherd
Bible Basis: Luke 15:1-7; John 10:10-18 The Bible tells us that Jesus cares for us as a shepherd cares for his sheep. Shepherd freed the sheep from entanglement in thorny places, fought wild animals to protect them, led them to grassy places for feeding, and provided safety for them while resting.
