It's Time Event a Big Success!

Executive Director Sandee Blechman with Board President Fran Maier

Children's Council extends a big "thank you" to all who made  It's Time! Investing in Early Care and Education  on May 27 so successful.  More than 110 people joined us to watch a sneak preview of the groundbreaking film,  The Raising of America, and to  learn about the importance of child care and early education for both parents and children.
Speakers Ted Lempert, President of Children Now, and Rachel Poulain, Associate Producer of The Raising of America,  emphasized that the nation's future prosperity relies on our ability to speak up and advocate for increased investments in early care and education. With your help, San Francisco can become a model for other cities across the state when it comes to investments in families and children. To see photos of the event, visit our Facebook page.
