Let the Journey Begin....
We are excited to present you with an amazing opportunity to serve in China with World Orphans in February 2013!
Join Journey 117, a ministry of World Orphans, to help facilitate an orphan outreach camp in the province of Fu Jian where we will join together with an orphanage that ministers to older abandoned children. Our team will organize and run a week-long camp for about 40 children and will engage with them in various activities such as ESL learning, arts and crafts, sports/recreation, drama and music. Additionally, children involved in the local Underground Church will be in attendance eager to be discipled by our team.
Individuals with experience in ESL, children/youth camps, youth ministry, art, or music are encouraged to apply.
Experience the orphan crisis first-hand and discover ways that you can make a difference in the lives of the fatherless as a result of your Journey.
Journey Trip Dates: January 28 - February 10, 2013
Estimated Cost: $3,500 (approx)
Applications Due By: October 15
Team selection will take place in late October and a team of 6-8 people will be chosen.
