The Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the following for making the 37th Annual Chincoteague Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade a tremendous success:
Town of Chincoteague and Public Works Department, Chincoteague Police Department,
Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company, Chincoteague Combined School, Chincoteague Island Library, Kiwanis Club of Chincoteague, The Salt Marsh Ramblers, 92.5 & 96.5 CTG, Dean Orsino; Master of Ceremonies, Pastor Kevin Stanley; Invocation, Mallory Peyton, Maria Grenchik, and Sandy Bowden; Judges, Set Up/Clean Up and Line Staging Volunteers, and all those that participated and attended the event.

Dec 11 - Children's Tea Party with Mrs. Claus. Hampton Inn & Suites. 2pm. 4179 Main Street. Sing-a-long Christmas songs, games & gifts. Snacks & opportunity for photos with Mrs Claus. Pre-paid reservations required. $15/person. Call 757-894-092. The children are encouraged to dress for a tea party. Accessories will be available for guests who do not have something.
Dec 16 -Steamed Shrimp & Clams Dinner. 5pm-7pm. Chincoteague American Legion Post, 4023 Main Street. Carry out available after 6:30, supplies permitting. Click here for more information.
Dec 17 - A Wish With Santa. Chincoteague Police Department. 6150 Community Drive. 11am - 3pm. Visit with Santa and enjoy a sugar cookie from the Corner Bakery (while supplies last)
New Year's Eve Package: Overnight Accommodations including New Year's Day Breakfast Buffet for Two, New Year's Eve Dinner at The Jackspot & Two Tickets to the Island Theatre Concert -- Band--Satisfaction, A Rolling Stones Tribute Band. Call Patty Shea for reservations and details. Happy Holidays!
The Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) has granted a Three-Year Accreditation with Commendation to the cancer program at the Riverside Shore Cancer Center.
