Mar 2 - The Mayor & Town Council of the Town of Chincoteague will hold a public hearing in Council Chambers to hear public comment on the Floodplain Ordinance - Amend Town Code-Chapter 30 Floods with changes including but not limited to adoption of revised Flood Insurance Rate Maps and Flood Insurance Study; which will go into effect May 18, 2015. 7 PM. 6150 Community Drive. All proceeds of the Pre-Loved Treasures Silent Auction will benefit the Museum of Chincoteague Island and Chincoteague Island Library's

"The Chincoteague Island Life History Project."
