Dear Parishioners and Friends,
Easter is not over! The Easter Season lasts for 50 days, from Easter Sunday (April 1) to Pentecost Sunday (April 20). The Paschal Candle remains in the sanctuary from the Easter Vigil to the Day of Pentecost symbolizing Christ's presence on earth in his resurrected body and in the Holy Spirit.
Easter, the celebration of our Lord's Resurrection from the dead, is not only realized in our Liturgy but also in our ministries and outreach. One such ministry is our healing service at Spring Village at Galloway, the first Thursday of every month at 11am. Jean Blasciak, a long time parishioner and resident of Spring Village, serves as our missioner. Each month we gather for prayers for healing, share in the Holy Eucharist, and hold conversation. You are invited to join us at Spring Village the first Thursday of each month to share in this fellowship and witness to the Risen Lord!

Capital Campaign- Kitchen Subcommittee Update
The Kitchen Subcommittee for the Capital Campaign has met several times discussing issues related to safety, function and design. We are gathering information/estimates concerning issues identified and possible solutions.

Order of Saint Luke Meeting Change
|
Due to Holy Week there will be no Meeting/Study in March. Our next Meeting will be April 25
th at 7pm in the Parish Living Room. Everyone ais encouraged to join in the Study of the Healing Miracles at any point. It is not necessary to have begun at the beginning. This provides a wonderful opportunity to learn a lot more about each miracle and what it relates about our life.

General Convention: Parish Meeting (Sunday, April 22)
|
A Parish Meeting about General Convention 2018 and the possibility of a new Book of Common Prayer. Father Justin will be representing our Diocese as an alternate deputy at convention (July 5-13) in Austin TX. During our meeting Fr. Justin will be able to answer questions and share your thoughts and/or concerns with the larger church at General Convention.
After General Convention, Fr. Justin will have a follow-up parish meeting along with other deputies and alternate deputies who participated.
Our Parish meeting will be Sunday, April 22, after the 10am Service.

SUNDAY COFFEE HOUR COULD USE YOUR HELP!
Coffee Hour on Sunday after the 10am Eucharist is a meaningful experience for becoming better acquainted and a great opportunity to welcome those new attending Christ Church. Recently we have not been able to enjoy this gathering regularly as there has been no one setting it up. Therefor it would be greatly appreciated if individuals or groups of people would be kind enough to volunteer. There is a sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall.
