From our Rector
Dear Parishioners and Friends,

It is with sadness that I report Bishop Councell is in poor health and now on comfort care.  He is a wonderful man and caring bishop.  He was very helpful to Christ Church many years ago when our parish was dealing with some challenges.  We had a truly spiritual and meaningful time with Bishop Councell when he was our guest for a weekend in the Fall of 2015 (9-27-2015) and conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation.  Bishop Stokes' letter updating the diocese on Bishop Councell's health can be found here  http://campaign.r20.constantcontact.com/render?m=1109091349525&ca=095e02e3-393b-408b-9f57-8f46aede7461. Please keep Bishop Councell and his wife Ruth in your prayers.  We will pray for them at all our Masses this weekend.

Faithfully yours,

Fr. Justin

Memorial Garden Committee

What a joy for the creation of the St. Christopher Memorial Garden of Christ Church.  We are thankful for the funds received through the Diocese from the former Church of the Epiphany, Ventnor, that enabled this project to be completed.  This is now an opportunity for you to support the perpetual care of the memorial garden.

You can do this by purchasing a dedication brick to be placed on part of the garden pathway.  At this time there are a limited number of bricks available.  Your engraved brick can be obtained at $100.00 per brick.  A couple of ideas for the dedication are in memory of someone, honoring someone, or sponsoring a brick for whatever reason.

To obtain an order form, you may leave a message at the church office at 609-927-6262 or email Marilyn Anderson marb14@comcast.net.  Forms are also available in the church narthex.

Yours in Christ,

Memorial Garden Committee

Sunday Coffee Hour!
SUNDAY COFFEE HOUR COULD USE YOUR HELP!
Coffee Hour on Sunday after the 10am Eucharist is a meaningful experience for becoming better acquainted and a great opportunity to welcome those new attending Christ Church. Recently we have not been able to enjoy this gathering regularly as there has been no one setting it up. Therefor it would be greatly appreciated if individuals or groups of people would be kind enough to volunteer. There is a sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall.
