Join us for a special evening celebrating the opening of the Christer Strömholm: Les Amies de Place Blanche exhibition and the release of the enhanced edition of Les Amies de Place Blanche, which will be available for the first time in French and English.
This event includes the screening of a short film about Strömholm's work; a panel discussion; a guided tour of the exhibition; and a book signing. The panel features special guest Gaëtane Niquet ("Jacky")—pictured right, who was photographed more than 50 years ago as a young transsexual struggling to live as a woman and raise money for a sex-change operation.
