Sparkle with Nights of 1000 Lights!

Witness the magic of Christmas this year with Sherman Library and Gardens!

Their 4th Annual Nights of 1000 Lights celebration will include all new light displays featuring more lights than ever including an expanded light tunnel, light orbs and light tubes. In the Central Garden a live-cut 20 foot Christmas tree will feature "natural bling." Not to mention you'll enjoy a light show in the Tropical Conservatory that will have you "singing in the rain," a flurry of fun in the Big Shade Garden and a dazzling red sparkle ceiling in the Fern Grotto.

For a Caribbean Christmas experience sail on up to the Tea Garden where a pink paradise of poinsettias and flamingos, and the sounds of Christmas music with a Calypso influence set the scene. All guests will enjoy complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, cookies and a make your own 'smores station. There will also be a photo-op with Santa, holiday photo booth and fun arts and crafts activities. This is a rain or shine event and will sell out fast so buy your ticket here today!

Tour the World with Lil' Chef!

Holiday vacation is approaching quickly and finding things to do with the little ones can be a drainer.

But worry not! Lil' Chef has you covered with their Winter Camp all about touring world flavors

Lil Chefs will learn how to make everything from scratch, properly measure wet and dry ingredients, learn knife skills and learn to bake some amazing sweet treats and savory favorites. All chefs wear an apron and will get to taste everything that they cook.  Each camp runs from Tuesday to Friday and features new recipes each day!

Take a tour of Italy on Tuesday with  dishes like pasta made from scratch and Italian Wedding Cookies. Wednesday is Latin American flare day with an apple berry salsa, queso blanco dip, and green chili chicken enchiladas! Visit the Mediterranean on Thursday with spanakopita, greek salad, and kourambiethes (Greek Christmas cookies). Friday is a time to bring it home with classic American dishes like potato cheese soup, chicken wellington, and a butterscotch coffee cake!
