Ash Wednesday Service: Please join us this Wednesday, February 10 at 7:30pm for our Ash Wednesday service in the sanctuary.

 

Wedding Vow Renewals: In the GENESIS service on February 14 couples will be given the opportunity to renew their wedding vows!

 

SKY (Seniors Keeping Young) will be attending, Broadway Comes to Hermitage, Friday, February 12. A special group of talented teenagers from the Winston-Salem, NC area will be performing music from Broadway shows, including "The Sound of Music, Annie, The Secret Garden, Cinderella and more. There is no charge for this performance which will be held in the Virginia Room. We will be leaving the church at 6:15 p.m. for the Hermitage. The sign-up list is on the SKY bulletin board. Girl Scouts will be hosting a cookie sale each Sunday in February by a different troop. Please stop by and support our Girl Scouts by purchasing a box of Girl Scout cookies. Each box is $4.00.

 

Lenten Bible Study starting on February 17th.  Pastor Bass will be teaching at 10 a.m. in room 116.  Jeff Dorsey will be teaching at 6:30 p.m. Soup and Sandwich will be served at 6:00 p.m. for those interested.

 

Wesleyan Preschool 2015-2016 Registration: February 16 (Tues) at 7pm for returning students/ February 17 (Wed) at 6pm for FUMC member's children new to the preschool / February 17 (Wed) at 7pm for any other new participants. District Leadership Training Event, February 27, 2016 at Greene Memorial UMC in Roanoke.  Workshops for new and returning leaders, laity and clergy, will be offered in a variety of work areas on Saturday, February 27 from 9am - 12:30pm. The goal is to equip and support those in leadership in the local church. Pre-registration is encouraged and may be done by calling the District Office at #989-3335.
