BECOME A MEMBER OF FUMC. We invite you to consider becoming a member of our church family.  Membership in a church is really about discipleship - about being a faithful follower of Christ.  At FUMC, we work to help all our members and prospective members become followers of Christ. There are several ways one can join the church:
1. Through a profession of faith in Jesus Christ & baptism.
2. Through transfer from another denomination or UM Church.
3. Affiliate Membership (for persons who are members of another  UMC but who reside in another place a good portion of the year & wish to also be a member of our church).
4. Associate Membership (for those who are members of another denomination under the same conditions as affiliate members). Under affiliate and associate membership you retain membership in both churches.
If you are interested in becoming a member or have questions, call the church office or speak with one of the ministers.

SMALL GROUPS COMING THIS FALL... Based on a survey and your responses, our team is planning some exciting new short-term classes starting in September. One will be on the life of John Wesley. Another will be a Bible study (to be announced). Another will be on Kids, the Internet, & Technology. During Advent we will offer a study on Mary entitled, "Not A Silent Night." Keep an eye out for more information. And if you have any suggestions for others, let Hilda Paxton, Bobby Pickle, Tricia Givens or Pastor Bass know. More are being planned for the spring of 2017.
