Special Thanksgiving Service

Spotsylvania area United Methodist Churches will join to offer a Special Thanksgiving Worship Service on Tuesday evening, November 21 ^st at 7:00 pm.

Zion United Methodist Church, 8700 Courthouse Rd. Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA 22553, will be the host church. Rev. Justin Williams, pastor of Hillcrest UMC, will be the guest preacher. Refreshments will be served after the service.

*If you have new or gently used winter outer wear you would like to donate, the Coat Closet at Zion UMC is happy to accept it for distribution to our neighbors in need.

Indoor Yard Sale to Benefit Scholarship

An indoor yard sale will be held on Saturday, December 2, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This fundraising event is to benefit the Betty Smith Gaskins Memorial Scholarship of Afton United Methodist Church. All items selected will be by donation with all proceeds going to the scholarship fund. Hot dogs and drinks will be sold at lunchtime. The yard sale will be held at: Afton United Methodist Church, 5130 Hacks Neck Road, in Ophelia, Virginia.
