Citizenship Classes at CrossOver
Traditionally, the 4th of July is a big day for swearing in new citizens.
Recently, a group from Third Church and the Arabic Christian Church taught an 8 week class to prepare newly arrived immigrants and refugees for the U.S. Citizenship test.

The students came from several countries including Egypt, Sudan, and Mexico. In addition to civics lessons the classes offered an introduction to American culture including Thanksgiving and Football!

Pastor Fakhri Yacoub af the Arabic Christian Church hopes to teach the class again. "It is a great opportunity to reach out and help new immigrants and refugees and to help them become an integral part of our community."

Thank you to Third Church, The Arabic Christian Church, for bringing this resource to CrossOver!

Financial gifts to the annual operating fund help keep our doors open and give our patients the medical care that they so desperately need.

CrossOver volunteers make a difference every day in the lives of patients, families, and the community.  Currently we have high demand for Dentists, Nurses, and OBGYN/WNP.
