The Emerging Youth Advisory Council

The City of Haines City’s Emerging Youth Advisory Council has partnered with the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program.  The program provides toys, clothing, and other Christmas gifts to underprivileged children.  Last year the Salvation Army’s Winter Haven chapter served 1,195 children in East Polk County.

The Angel Tree has ornaments with the name and age of a child from infant to 12 years old and the toy that child would most like to receive.  The Angel Tree is in the lobby of City Hall and we appreciate your support and interest in helping the youth within our region.
