Learn about Water Safety at Professor's Lake
Bring the family to Professor's Lake during the week of July 16 to 24 for fun activities, demonstrations, workshops and information on how to stay safe around the water this summer. All activities are free during regular operating hours (10 am to 7 pm) with regular paid admission to the beach. Both wet and dry activities will be available for all ages.
Find out about boating safety, and tips to keep your family safe at your backyard pool. Try on different styles of life-jackets and get properly fitted. Pick up some Water Smart tips for children under 12, and get information about Brampton's learn-to-swim programs for all ages, and our FREE Swim to Survive classes for adults.
This event is part of National Drowning Prevention Week, which is led by the Lifesaving Society to focus attention on saving lives through water safety.   [more...]
