Rain Increases Folsom Lake Water Levels
Recent storms that moved through the Sacramento region have helped increase water levels at Folsom Lake by 47 feet since December 1.  To put this into perspective, in December 2015 alone, Folsom Reservoir added enough water to serve Folsom's water use demands for six years. While the increase is encouraging, Folsom Reservoir is still 14 feet lower than last year, and conservation efforts should continue.
Due to the uncertainty of the statewide drought continuing into 2016, Governor Jerry Brown issued Executive Order B-36-15 calling for an extension of urban water use restrictions through October 2016. Folsom's conservation target remains at 32 percent.  Stay informed about the drought and water conservation at your home or business at www.folsom.ca.us
