Your Source for Planning in Los Angeles
Greetings Angelenos!

Our Department is currently working to plan for the future of Los Angeles. With the support of the Mayor and City Council, we recently launched an effort to update all 35 Community Plans by 2024.

Your participation in this process is extremely important and I encourage you to learn more about how you can get involved. Our Community Plan teams will be out in several communities in the coming weeks and months, so please stay tuned for outreach dates and locations near you.

Together, we are Planning for LA.

The Transit Neighborhood Plans (TNP) program — a project partially funded by Metro — was launched in 2012 to encourage livable communities and employment centers around five rail lines along the region’s expanding transit network.

#ThrowbackThursday
Fun Fact: Staples Center is home to several Los Angeles professional sports organizations including the Lakers and Clippers of the National Basketball Association, the Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association, and the Kings of the National Hockey League. It also a regular venue for many of the music and entertainment industry's major events.

Built almost 20 years ago, Staples Center has paved the way for the urban revitalization of and development in and around the South Park neighborhood of Downtown Los Angeles.
