Mayor Cracks Down on Illegal Dumping
The Dept. of Economic Development has been working as part of the Cleveland Environmental Crimes Task Force (ECTF) to end illegal dumping, stripping, and scrapping. Within the past year the ECTF has worked with Cuyahoga County and the Cleveland Police Department to address prevention, enforcement, legislation, and community engagement matters.   Read More

The Department of Economic Development assisted Ariel International Center with a small grant to partially fund the costs associated with the installation of high speed fiber in order to satisfy the requirements, and retain in the City of Cleveland, a growing small business.    Read More
Improving Ohio's Access to Fresh Healthy Food
Lately, improving access to healthy, fresh food is a hot topic, as we take steps to improve the health of our communities. This initiative is also a key component of the Ohio Department of Health's 2014-2018 "Plan to Prevent and Reduce Chronic Disease" since chronic disease costs the state of Ohio billions of dollars each year.  Read More

Care Alliance Builds New Health Care Facility 
Since 1985 Care Alliance Health Center strives to address the healthcare disparities among individuals and families living in Cleveland. They are continuing their mission to bring affordable, high quality healthcare with the opening of their new two-story, 30,000 sq. ft. $10 million healthcare facility within the Central Neighborhood which provides - for the first time in its facilities - pediatric and women's health services under one roof.   Read More

Lighting Up the Flats - TPI Efficiency
TPI Efficiency  earlier this year celebrated its move to a new building the company recently purchased located on the West Bank of the Flats.
