Construction Updates:  Hamilton Road Central

Construction on Hamilton Road Central Rd. is continuing to progress ahead of schedule and portions of the roundabouts are now functioning.

As the project continues to move toward completion, there will be some changes to the maintenance of traffic over the next few weeks which will include lane shifts and the installation of temporary pavement markings throughout the project.  These changes will impact the north and south bound lanes of Hamilton Road, as well as Clark State Road.  Motorists should expect longer than normal delays and impacts during their commutes at the intersection of Clark State Road and Hamilton Road as construction crews work to complete the roundabout and islands in the area over the next few weeks.

Learn How to Drive Through Roundabouts

In an effort to help drivers safely navigate through the two new roundabouts on Hamilton Rd., the City of Gahanna has prepared a series of short instructional videos.

Once fully functional, the roundabouts will help to reduce traffic congestion in the area.
