zulily Expands Operations in Columbus Region

zulily , the online retailer obsessed with bringing customers special finds every day, today announced the next phase of its expansion in the Columbus, Ohio area.

zulily has invested $1.3 million, adding to its collective capital investment of $30 million in the Columbus Region, and has expanded its existing Gahanna operations to support its rapid growth.

US Route 62 Paving Scheduled to Occur on September 19, 2016

Beginning September 19 through September 21 construction crews will be working from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. making repairs to US Route 62.

Additionally, US Route 62 south will be closed on September 26 - 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for paving. The detour will be Heil Drive to Granville Street.
VFW to Host First Responders
Appreciation Week



First Responders from agencies in Gahanna and Mifflin Township will be recognized for their service to the community the week of Sept.18, with events culminating on the field prior to the Gahanna Lincoln High School football game to be held on Friday, Sept. 23.

Mayor Kneeland Declares September 19
Safe Driving Awareness Day in Gahanna
 
September has been designated as Safe Driving Awareness month in Ohio by Governor John Kasich. In an effort to raise greater awareness about the dangers of distracted driving in the community, the City of Gahanna has teamed up with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to host a community awareness and education day on September 19.

To support this day of awareness, Mayor Tom Kneeland will declare September 19 as Distracted Driving Awareness Day in Gahanna.

Show Your Class 5K Walk Registration Now Open

The Gahanna Get Moving Team and the family of Bob Toopes invite you to the 7th Annual SYC 5K Walk on October 9 at Creekside Plaza, 117 Mill St. 
 
This year, the family will also walk in memory of David Toopes, Bob's brother, who died recently. Proceeds from the walk support experiential education and recreation wellness opportunities for the Gahanna community.
