Building a Sustainable future for Golden

A sustainable Golden Last month CSAB and a panel of local experts began research into potential projects to address the threats of climate change on our community with the goal of improved understanding of climate adaptation needs and resources. The panel will use a common-sense approach with a keen eye on the City's fiscal responsibility to formulate recommendations for opportunities and projects that City Council may consider. In addition, Golden is participating in a statewide Local Resilience Project, sponsored by the Colorado Municipal League, that will identify possible local actions and resources needed from the state and federal governments.

Improving our resilience as a community is a key element of sustaining Golden and we want to hear your thoughts. Visit our new Climate Resiliency page, and use the form there to give us your feedback.
