City of Hamilton partners with U.S. Gain to expand CNG services in Ohio
Hamilton, Ohio -  The city of Hamilton has partnered with U.S. Gain, the compressed natural gas (CNG) division of U.S. Venture, Inc., to add the GAIN® Clean Fuel brand to its fueling station. The station is located at 2220 South Erie Blvd., Hamilton, Ohio. Built in 2014, it is the only public CNG station in the Cincinnati region.

"Our partnership with U.S. Gain will increase our energy independence through the use of a domestically-produced fuel while decreasing our carbon footprint. This partnership will also drive national CNG fleets from GAIN's network to stop and fuel in the city of Hamilton," says City of Hamilton Field Services Superintendent Mike Gurr. "The city currently has 10 CNG-fueled vehicles and plans to increase the CNG fleet over the next several years. This is just one of the several green initiatives the city of Hamilton is engaged in."

"This location brought the first CNG facility into the Cincinnati area and will continue to provide convenient access for the city's vehicles," said GAIN Clean Fuel General Manager Bill Renz. "We are excited to partner with the city of Hamilton at this station and expand the broad network of GAIN Clean Fuel stations."

The CNG station is a self-service, commercial, fast-filling facility, and able to serve up to eight vehicles at a time.
