Fiscal Year 2018 Budget

Saco City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2018 budget (July 1st to June 30th) on Monday May 8, 2017, with a total appropriation of $51,905,974.

The total tax levy approved by council (the part paid for with property taxes) was $41,870,980, an increase of 4.05% from 2017. This tax increase helped cover a loss in state aid for schools and kept expenditures relatively flat for the city. This will ensure a continuation of quality service being provided to the residents of Saco.
