2011 Selbach "incline" (Mosel) $12.99
The 'Incline' was produced by Johannes Selbach to simply outshine all Mosel Rieslings at, or near, its price point. The name Incline was chosen to honor the impossibly steep sloped terroir of the Mosel from which these grapes are grown. Vinified in stainless steel, with just a hint of residual sugar, this wine vividly represents all that Mosel wine should be - Fruity with vibrant acidity, clarity, and precision; all highlighted by intense slate-driven minerality. As an introduction to what one can gleam from great Mosel wine, Selbach's 'Incline' is incredible.
2011 Geil Kabinett (Rheinhessen) $15.99
This is a cool, limey Riesling, lots of apple and mineral, forthright and animated and salty - a Tabula Rasa for German Riesling. Lots of palate-coating exotica, minty zing.
2011 Leitz Eins, Zwei, Drei "3" (Rheingau) $16.99
After the elegant doughy '09, this has the most adamantly delineated fruit of any vintage yet - and also the most adamant dryness. The usual quetsch and red currant appear, but with an obdurate length and a surmise of nettles and cress. A litmus test: if you like this, you like dry Riesling.
2011 Von Winning (Pfalz) $19.99
This winery is turning heads for many reasons, like the fact they are making extremely dry wines that are partly barrel fermented and aged on the lees, much the same way White Burgundy is crafted. A STEAL AT THIS PRICE. Lime and tropical notes with hints of mango and peach pit while a core of green apple and grapefruit burst through on the palate with vibrant force while lemon/lime and spicy mineral essences add to the complexity with a touch of slate like smokiness and brioche as well. Pure class.
2011 Kerpen Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett (Mosel) $19.99
This winery produces sleek, feminine, elegant and soulful wines with silky fruit of exceptional beauty, and this is one of the top vineyard sites. Very light green-tinged yellow color; tart lime, lemon nose; tasty, tart lime, lemon, mineral and slate palate; medium finish. A REAL VALUE
2009 Heidemanns-Bergweiler Bernkasteler-Badstube (Mosel) $14.99
A TOP Mosel estate! Off-dry, with good acidity. Lime, green apple. Lively Balanced between acid and sugar. Great price for the quality.
2010 Heidemanns-Bergweiler Graacher-Himmelreich (Mosel) $14.99

2011 Donnhoff (Nahe) $19.99
Producer of some of the greatest Rieslings on earth. The New York Times recently dubbed it one of its "Memorable bottles for $20".... "as the wine warms up, its elegant nature becomes apparent, and a richness and rocky minerality emerge."
2011 Kruger-Rumpf Pittersberg (Nahe) $39.99
Glamorous. A "Blue Chip" from the greatest site of the lower Nahe. This is a "Grosses Gewachs" (first growth). It is unusual in that it is harvested at Auslese level but then dry-fermented. Simply unique (and we only have 6 bottles). SPECIAL
2010 Heidemanns-Bergweiler Spatlese (Mosel) $24.99
What a buy on a top-notch Spatlese. This wine is regularly $35 and has a 92 pt rating from the Wine Spectator. It would be perfect match with your eclectic Thanksgiving fare. I could also be happy in your cellar for many, many years.
2007 Carl Schmitt-Wagner Spatlese (Mosel) $18.99
The last vintage made by the famous Bruno Schmitt. Beautiful, classic Mosel. It even has a couple years of evolution to get you going (although it could last 20+ more). TERRIFIC QPR!!
2011 Merkelbach Urziger Wurzgarten Auslese (Mosel) $24.99
The highest qBA (sweetness) level in our offering, but don't let that scare you off. Fresh strawberries, pasta water and powdered slated. Smoky and juicy, apples from a coven.
