It's June, which means we're ready for summer here at Clapp Communications!
What are you looking forward to most this summer?
Barb - I'm looking forward to the peonies from my garden in the beginning of the summer. They make me happy.
Timmy - I'm looking forward to time at the beach!
Lisa -
I'm looking forward to summer nights around the fire pit with good friends and neighbors, a few trips to the beach with my family, and lots of snowball runs!
Dana - I just moved, so I'm looking forward to spending t
ime outside in our new backyard!
Karen E. -
After such a busy spring with both of my kids graduating, I can't wait to relax on the beach in Nantucket this summer. Nantucket is my absolute favorite place in the world - an island that is hard to get to but well worth the effort. The historic town complete with cobblestone streets and grey shingled houses, the amazing restaurants and shops, the always blooming hydrangeas, the many different beaches, the lighthouses, the lobster, the people - I love it all! The biking, fishing and tennis are great too! Happy Summer!
Karen B. - The Benckinis are most looking forward to hosting a baseball player from the UNC Tar Heels for the summer! Shortstop Utah Jones (cool name, sounds like a baseball player!) is coming to play for the Red Birds here in Maryland. Utah hails from a prestigious baseball family. His brother was a 2nd-round pick for the San Francisco Giants in the 2013 MLB draft and his father is head baseball coach at Appalachian State University. Our twins are over the moon excited, as they think it will be like having a big brother around, and Utah seems like a heck of a nice guy!
Lauren - My boyfriend and I just booked our flight to visit San Francisco, CA later this summer and I'm already counting down the days! This will be my first time in California, or on the West Coast at all, so I can't wait to spend a week exploring the city and hopefully make a trip to visit Napa Valley and Big Sur while we're there too.

June 2016
From the Desk of Barb Clapp...
I always look forward to this time of year! I prefer the warmer weather and love to look out my window at home to see all the green plants outside. As much as I like traveling during the summer months, I also enjoy spending time at home outside on our patio and gardening in the yard. My family and I especially love the fresh vegetables from our garden. I hope you take time to enjoy this wonderful time of year too!
Happy Summer!
