Introducing Barb's amazing Alzheimer's Association Memory Ball dance partner, Cedric Teamer!
Please welcome our new spring intern, Kiara!
March 2nd was Dr. Seuss's Birthday, also known as Dr. Seuss Day!
What's your favorite Dr. Seuss book or quote?
Barb - I have come to realize life is fleeting and so I love the quote, "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory."
Timmy - My favorite book is One Fish, Two Fish. I remember buying it at the Rodgers Forge Elementary School Book Fair when I was in first or second grade! I read it to my children so often that I think I can recite it to this day!
Lisa -
"Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!" -
How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
I have always been fond of this quote because it sums up the true meaning of Christmas for me -- the best gifts are friends, family, and faith.
Dana - "Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple."-
Oh, the Places You'll Go
Of course there are many simple questions with complicated answers, but for all of life's big stuff, I find the right answers are usually easy, whether you realize it or not!
Karen E. -
"You're off to Great Places!
Today is Your Day!
Your Mountain is Waiting,
So Get on Your Way!"
- Oh, the Places You'll Go
I love the optimism of this quote. It always makes me smile and make me feel like I can do anything!
Karen B. - I like this obscure birthday quote from Dr. Seuss - "I am lucky to be what I am! Thank goodness I'm not just a clam or a ham or a dusty old jar of sour gooseberry jam!" - Happy Birthday to You!
Lauren - I remember my favorite Dr. Seuss book as a child that I would read over and over again was Green Eggs and Ham. However, now I'd have to say my favorite quote that resonates a bit more in my life is from The Lorax - "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."
This quote inspires and reminds me I have to take initiative to make a difference in the world!
Kiara - "Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is you-er than you!" - Happy Birthday to You!
Even though the snowy morning at the office was pretty last week, we're still ready for the spring weather to come!

March 2016
From the Desk of Barb Clapp...
Last month I announced that I will be dancing in the Alzheimer's Association's Memory Ball Dancing Stars event. The dance on April 16 is already almost a month away and things are really coming together! My dance partner, Cedric Teamer, and I are practicing 3 times a week to prepare our dance. I don't know what I'd do without my team here at Clapp holding me together, especially when the wrong costume arrives at the office! The donations so far have been really incredible, so thank you to all who have supported.
You can still help with this amazing event by buying a table, a ticket, donating online, sponsoring or just spreading the word. Click

Thank you for your support!
