September is Self Improvement Month.

How do you make yourself a better person?

Barb- Everyday I try to focus on acceptance and gratitude.  I must accept the things I cannot change, and seek to learn from them, while also being grateful for things I can change, and for all the small things that make my business, coworkers and life so wonderful.

Timmy-  I am a type A personality.  Ten years ago, I started practicing yoga as a way to teach myself to relax and clear my mind - well really, my friend wanted to try yoga and wanted me to go with her!  But yoga has made me a more relaxed and tolerant person - I will never be "chill" but even my own  Mother will tell you that I am much calmer than I use to be!

Lisa-  Always try to make yourself a better version of you. And if you think that you have nothing left to improve, then you definitely need to work on self-improvement!

Dana- Set goals, do the best you can and make that enough. Don't be hard on yourself! I had a pretty intense diet coke addiction...I've now been soda free for nine months, a huge accomplishment in my self-improvement journey!

Karen- From a professional standpoint, I strive to keep learning about the ways to use online media more effectively for our clients. On a personal level, my self improvement goals are leading a fitter lifestyle and going deeper with my spirituality...I try to achieve these items by taking new classes at the gym, and by participating in a small group at my church.

Hannah-I like to try and improve myself in many ways.  I work out to take care of myself physically.  I read books and newspapers to stay informed, and I try to continue learning something new, like this year I decided to learn American Sign Language.

Briggs and Daizy came in to the office one Friday to help us start the weekend!
