Youth summer film acting camp registration is open!  Actors should be in class when they aren't working.  Classes are a great opportunity to deepen your skill set and stretch your range and technique. The PHOENIX FILM FESTIVAL is April 6-13 at Harkins Scottsdale 101.  Industry Night, Kids' Day, parties + FILMS = one fantastic week!

JUDITH EISENBERG and ROBERT PETERS were cast in "Circle Mirror Transformation;" it runs April 14-30 at Mesa Encore Theatre. RYAN ELIZABETH PARKER plays Mary in "The Secret Garden" at Valley Youth Theatre.  FRED GERLE was cast in "Oliver!" at Arizona Broadway Theatre. DANNY GONSOWSKI plays Innkeeper Mordcha in "Fiddler n the Roof" at Don Bluth Front Row Theatre through April 1. ANDREA THOMAS plays the  Storyteller in "The Wedding Story" by Chad Cocquyt in the ASU Director's Shorts.

Film  
SAYLOR BILLINGS and BOB PETERS were in "A Secret Face" for the A3F 72-Hour festival and finished in the Top 20. ANDREA THOMAS plays  Dr. Lisa Reynolds in "It Happened So Fast." TOBI & MATT (directed by Joe Gruberman, starring JUDITH EISENBERG) is in the Arizona Shorts A program at the Phoenix Film Festival.

Television 
FRED GERLE is in "Quantico" that aired March 20. LAURA MUNOZ-BOTTINI was on an episode of "Jane the Virgin." LAURA MUNOZ-BOTTINI was in the pilot of "Saddle Up."

In Memory: Lisa Feeney
1963-2016

Lisa Feeney was one of Verve's very first students; she started Scene Study in 2006 and went on to do many other classes, showcases and even film projects collaborating with students and staff she met at Verve.  She was a valuable member of the Verve community.  The Lisa Feeney Scholarship is awarded to current students on a case by case basis, taking into account financial need and dedication to the craft.
