Letter from CCIA
One of CCIA's objectives is to help innovative cleantech companies enter the commercial market. Our second annual Mining Clenatech Challenge will be Thursday, and we are excited to offer our mining partners another round of innovative clean technology solutions.

Each year our partners help us identify common challenges facing their industry that might be mitigated through a clean technology solution. Based on the identified challenges in the mining industry (water, remote / distributed power, remote sensing, and tailings/waste handling and disposal to name a few), CCIA implements a national call for applications and then the industry partners choose which companies they would like to invite to Denver in order to learn more. This year, we are hosting ten companies, five of which are from Canada.

We are looking forward to our fifth annual Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge in September, and are considering doing one for the Transportation industry. Stay tuned!
