WORSHIP
What is the story we tell ourselves about our lives, our community, and our nation about the civil rights movements in our country?
seeking our truths.
nurturing our spirits. standing of the side of love. creating peace. welcoming all.
WOMEN'S RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS
Kate Sarton & Threads Worldwide invite women for a worshipful opportunity of inspiration and connection on January 18 at 7pm. Following a time of reflection and meditation, Kate will present on a commercial project that sells jewelry made by women all over the world.
A Human Rights March on Augusta, supporting women's rights, civil liberties, and protection of the planet, will take place on January 21.
SEEKERS, FRIENDS, MEMBERS
During those first few connections you have with our church, you are a seeker - searching for meaning, connection, hope. We, in turn, seek to welcome you: your whole self, with all your truths and your doubts, your worries and your dreams. After you've entered, you  become a friend who can participate fully in church life in the ways that call to you.
When friends decide to join in membership, they become part of this vital, liberating institution that stands for the worth and dignity of all people, the health of our planet, and the conscious care of our neighbors.

February 11 marks our 8th Maine Farm Supper, and we want YOU to get involved! Although the supper itself is a great locally-sourced feast, it's our wonderful First U community working together that MAKES the event.
