Spotlight on Alpha Chi Omega
|
Alpha Chi Omega was founded in 1885 at DePauw University. The Beta Tau chapter here at Miami University has just welcomed an unbelievable class of new members filled with responsible, compassionate and intelligent women. They also had their annual philanthropy event, Monday Night Football! Fraternities and Sororities all across campus form teams and come together in the central quad for some friendly flag football and all the money raised goes toward domestic violence awareness.

Miami Memos Wants Your Submissions
|
Dear Fraternity & Sororities,
The Miami Memos is the official student planner on Miami University's campus. It is sold campus-wide at bookstores and is available to the student body as well as faculty and staff.
The Memos is comprised of calendar pages, on which we like to promote Miami University events. We hope that you will provide us with any event dates that are important to your organization. The Memos has found that including these dates can increase overall attendance at events.
We have extended the deadline to March 31, 2013 to turn your event dates for the 2013-2014 academic year in so they can be included in next year's Memos. The template for your events is below. When you send them in, please set them up as such:
(Event) (Time) (Location) (Sponsor)
Send events to miamimemos@gmail.com.
Thank you, Kristin Bell & Jenny Miller Co-Editors, Miami Memos

Greeks Doing Good
|
This new section of the Cliff's Notes will highlight members of Fraternities or Sororities making a difference in the community. YOU can nominate your brother or sister! The member chosen to be spotlighted will be notified, and the nomination will be featured in the Cliff's Notes that week. We encourage you to nominate a brother or sister if they have participated in service events and activities (such as going on a Global Business Brigade), if they have volunteered with the same organization for an extended period of time, or if they have done any other act of good that is worth recognizing.
You can find the nomination form HERE.
