Spotlight on Alpha Delta Pi

Alpha Delta Pi hosted their annual philanthropy event, Are You Smarter Than A Greek? Trivia Tournament on March 21st. There was a great turnout and everyone had a blast testing their knowledge on history, pop culture, and Miami traditions! All the money raised was donated to the Ronald McDonald House, Alpha Delta Pi's International philanthropy. Members volunteer each week at the house in Cincinnati by making crafts, baking, and talking to the families who have children receiving surgery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. A representative even came and spoke at the philanthropy event to help raise awareness!

AEPhi Colleen Kenny is Doing Good!

colleen kenny

"Colleen has contributed to the community by volunteering for numerous organizations.  She dedicated her time helping pack meals for children in need through Feed My Starving Children and was asked to serve on their leadership team next year!  She also dedicated several hours at a blood drive sponsored by AEPhi and other organizations."

Colleen serves as AEPhi's new member educator as well as AEPhi's social media chair.  She is a Finance major and also a part of MU Open Collegiate Synchronized Skating team.

Congratulations, Colleen, and keep up the great work in serving your community.

Greeks Doing Good

This new section of the Cliff's Notes will highlight members of Fraternities or Sororities making a difference in the community.  YOU can nominate your brother or sister!  The member chosen to be spotlighted will be notified, and the nomination will be featured in the Cliff's Notes that week.  We encourage you to nominate a brother or sister if they have participated in service events and activities (such as going on a Global Business Brigade), if they have volunteered with the same organization for an extended period of time, or if they have done any other act of good that is worth recognizing.

You can find the nomination form HERE.

Scholarship Opportunity and Summer Conference

Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute UIFI is a 5 day leadership conference with many session throughout the summer that is centered around fraternity and sorority life.  Interact with other Greeks from around the country, develop leadership skills and find your fraternal calling.

For full details, contact Kayte Fry at frykj@miamioh.edu

Applications are due by April 20th at 12pm.
