Catalyst
The Cliff Office is excited to present Catalyst, a one-day leadership program focused on learning to develop your own authentic path, connect to a cause you care about, and commit to a plan to be a catalyst for yourself and the community you're a part of.

You'll consider powerful questions that move you towards action:
Am I on the right path? Who do I want to be? How can I connect with other like-minded individuals?

Through Catalyst you'll learn alongside others who also want to start something extraordinary.

Catalyst will be held on January 23, 2015 in the Armstrong Pavilion. Apply today!

Applications due December 1, 2015.

Tips for Securing Fraternity Houses
During Winter Break
As you prepare to leave Oxford for the winter break, take a few precautions to secure your house before you leave.  Taking a little extra time can often avert problems which may occur through theft or damage.

When closing up the house remember to:
  • Remove all perishable items from the kitchen and refrigerator
  • Lock all doors and windows
  • Unplug lamps, televisions, and other appliances in public areas as well as individual rooms
  • Leave sufficient heat on in the house to prevent waterline freeze-up
  • Remove all holiday decorations
  • Fill out a "Vacant House Check" form online at:  http://www.cityofoxford.org/webforms/vacant-house-check-form
  • Dispose of all trash
A key should be left with a local member, alumni, or friend who will remain in Oxford over break.
Tips for Securing Sorority Suites
 During Winter Break
Each chapter is responsible for cleaning and closing the suite prior to the winter break.  The residence halls will close at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11.  We recommend that you close and lock your suite on Thursday evening, but it must be cleaned, closed, and locked no later than noon on Friday.

When closing be sure to:
  •  Remove all perishable items from the kitchen and refrigerator--prop  refrigerator door open
  • Dispose of trash
  • Unplug lamps, televisions, and other appliances including refrigerators and soft drink machines
  • Remove all holiday decorations
  • Lock windows and doors
