In this two credit hour course, students explore multiple approaches to leadership and build a capacity for socially responsible leadership, relating to the fraternity/sorority experience.

 so space is limited.

If you are interested in enrolling, please contact  Michael McPhee in our office. He will be happy to share more about this course and answer any questions.
The Cliff Office is excited to present Catalyst, a one-day leadership program focused on learning to develop your own authentic path, connect to a cause you care about, and commit to a plan to be a catalyst for yourself and the community you're a part of.
You'll consider powerful questions that move you towards action:
Am I on the right path? Who do I want to be? How can I connect with other like-minded individuals?
Through Catalyst you'll learn alongside others who also want to start something extraordinary.
Catalyst will be held on January 23, 2015 in the Armstrong Pavilion. Apply today!

Applications due December 1, 2015.

Futures Quest

The North-American Interfraternity Conference is hosting a program this winter that I think you would really benefit from. I was fortunate enough to attend the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute last summer, and I encourage you to register and attend!

Futures Quest is a three day program unlike any other experience fraternity members will have, and it's for new fraternity men (having joined their organization within the last 24 months) from across the country. Two sessions will be held at Camp Tecumseh in Brookston, Indiana on  December 19-21, 2015 and  January 8-10, 2016.
At Futures Quest, fraternity members participate in a weekend devoted to Ritual-based leadership, values-based action, personal goal setting, and commitment to chapter development. The program provides participants with an experience that is broader than their own chapter and builds individuals as a piece of the entire fraternal movement. In addition, the experience provides peer-to-peer learning as small group leaders are older collegiate fraternity or sorority members from across the country.
Participants will learn new skills related to ethical decision making and problem solving, conflict management, values integration, and effectively taking risks.

You can register to attend  by clicking here. Some scholarships are already available, and many fraternity/sorority life offices on campuses are able to support students to attend.

I hope you'll go to Futures Quest. I look forward to talking about your experience when you get back!

If you have any questions, please email me, Mary Langenfeld, and I'll be happy to share my experience.
