I can't believe it is time for the June Club Aquarius meeting already.  And, for those of you who have been looking at the schedule, you will note that we have changed the topic.  Our resident pirate is off to do more plundering in the Caribbean and will be teaming up with several other staff members to offer a rum treat in September.

In the mean time, Scuba Steve volunteered to step in to talk about safe diving, hydration and ways you can help avoid problems on your next dive trip.  For this event, both sides of Scuba Steve will shine through -- Dr Steve, Nephrologist (blood chemistry specialist) and Scuba Steve the fun loving Dive Coordinator, photographer, tickler of small children, practical joker, and  "uber-nerd" will come shining through.  So keep reading and find the details about when to show up at the Black Labrador for a fun and entertaining presentation.

Now is your chance to discover what lies beyond!  The Principles of Technical Diving is the first course in the technical diving curriculum.  It is designed to introduce you to decompression diving, planning for these types of dives and helps to answer questions like, how can I stay down longer? What is the deal with helium? What is it like diving below 130'? This course starts in July and the open water sessions will be conducted locally.
