May was Mental Health Month and is designed to increase awareness about mental illness. We need to continue to raise that awareness every day of the year and ensure that people who need help get it as quickly as possible. The Havre de Grace Boys & Girls Club teens are doing their part to spread awareness to their peers by creating a short film. Watch this powerful video now.

Young people attempt suicide at an alarmingly high rate: among 15-24 year olds, there is one suicide for every 100-200 attempts.Suicide is the sixth leading cause of death among youths aged 5-14. A youth suicide (aged 15-24) occurs every 100 minutes.
