Director Spotlight
Otelia "T" Brannigan
We could not be more proud of our Havre de Grace Club Director, Ms. T who gave up a spot on a LPGA tour for an opportunity to work with our kids.  Something, she has done incredibly well for the last 15 years.  In recognition of her outstanding service, Harford Sun Magazine featured Ms. T in their October issue. ( See the article.)  Upon hearing about her story, The Bel Air Rotary Club paid for Ms. T to take a well deserved 1-week vacation to a beautiful golf resort in Virginia.  Thank you to the Bel Air Rotary, especially to their primary donor, Tony Steelman.  Most of all, thank you to Ms. T for 15 years of dedicated service to our youth.  You are a phenomenal person!

Thank you to everyone who has supported me in my 15 years with Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County. I can't say it has always been an easy road, but without a a shadow of a doubt it's been worth every tear, smile and joyful moment because I'm inspiring Great Futures and touching the lives of our young leaders. Thank you all for the congratulations- I appreciate you all . ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Volunteer Spotlight
Mr. Mitch

Henderson "Mitch" Mitchell
Edgewood Club

Henderson Mitchell, known to our kids as Mr. Mitch, of Bel Air, has been named recipient of Harford County's Ripple Effect Award, so-named because of the ripples that spread from a single pebble dropped in a pond, just as a single volunteer benefits the broader community.

Mitchell and 27 other Harford residents were honored at the 30th Annual Harford's Most Beautiful People Awards hosted by County Executive Barry Glassman and the Harford County Department of Community Services on Oct. 8 at the Bel Air Church of the Nazarene.

Mr. Mitch has been a long standing volunteer with Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County, first volunteer at our Windsor Valley Unit, then continuing his service at the Edgewood Boys & Girls Clubs.  A mathematician at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Mr. Mitch always puts the kids before himself, and his commitment has truly has an impact on our kids and their futures.  Thank you, Mr. Mitch!

Staff Spotlight
Catina McCall

Membership Clerk
Havre de Grace Club

Ms. Catina started out as a volunteer and soon became staff in July as a membership clerk. She has put in many hours helping us to get our systems back up to speed and get organized. She comes to the Clubs with a wealth of knowledge for administration work and a spirit that can make anyone's bad day into a good one. She is very involved in her community with her own catering business and in her church.

At the Club she is not only our membership clerk and the friendly  face that greets parents and Club members, but she personally mentors five Club members at the site.

She is always looking for new ways to help the Club shine by recruiting volunteers and assisting in the planning of Club activities.

Ms. Catina is a jewel to our Club and we are very proud to have her on our team.
