News from the Club!
Wow...three weeks in and we're having a blast with our campers at
Camp Souhegan!
This month's newsletter is a little shorter, but don't let that fool you! Our building is occupied from 6:45am-9:00pm almost every weekday, with camps and kids during the day and rehearsals and adult gym time after hours.
The last few weeks have been full of swimming, Legos, outdoor play, gym time, and so much more as we keep celebrating the summer.
- Our new camp format is working well so far, and in addition to our rec camp (headed up by our all star staff Stacie, Julia, and Catherine!), we've already successfully run three skill camps: Futsal and Soccer, Laser Tag, and Painting/Drawing. We're looking forward to the many upcoming skill camps as well!
- We said goodbye to our Executive Director of 11 years, Susan Taylor, on July 14. We'll miss her, but we wish her the very best as she goes on to advise Boys & Girls Clubs all over Massachusetts!
- Thanks to the Friendly's in Merrimack for donating more than $400 from their Fourth of July celebration to the Club! July 16 is National Ice Cream Day, so they will again be donating a portion of their proceeds from all the Friend-Z's sold to the Club. So stop by Friendly's for some ice cream AND to support the Club on Sunday..yum!
- Keep an eye out for fall registrations, coming to our website in the next few weeks. For more information on school year services, contact Caitlin for grades 1-5, Julia for grades 6-12, and Catherine for pre-k and kindergarten.

Dear Parents,
The Club will be hosting our Annual Charity Golf Classic on Friday, August 11th, 2017. The annual Classic’s success is critical to the hundreds of children that attend our Club programs each year. In addition to supporting important services for your children our community, the event raises critical funds for those unable to attend the Boys and Girls Club programs without the benefit of financial assistance.
The scramble format tournament, held at the Amherst Country Club, will be followed by a dinner reception and live auction, plus games, raffles, car detailing, and more! A great way to support the Club and have a fun afternoon!
A few ways you can help…
Get a foursome together and join us.
Give a “Gift of Golf” to someone in your family.
Maybe you can be a Sponsor. A great way to highlight your business.
